Persons with disabilities along with their few well-wisher social workers established Uttaran Protibandhi Sangstha (UPS) as a non-political, voluntary organization on July 01, 2002 located at Textile Mitali Bazar, 2 No. Sundarban Union of Dinajpur aiming at socio-economic development by developing persons with disabilities as human resources.
Uttaran Protibandhi Sangstha (UPS) is working on developing persons with disabilities, un-employed youth with disabilities, children and adolescent with disabilities as human resources through different programs; increase participation in different activities of government and non-government aiming at poverty elimination, inclusive education and employment.
